Caroline Scott Braddock.
It's even fun to write it out like that. That's the first time. It's even pretty in print, if I do say so myself.. :) Scott is having a bit of a difficult time accepting the "Scott" part, but we compromised by ditching the precious double name we were considering in which we would've called her "Scott" as part of her name all the time.
A couple of days ago I realized that I've come to a really good place in accepting whatever diagnosis the Lord gives us with sweet little Caroline. This has certainly been a process that I've been mentally and verbally claiming, but still torn up about emotionally at times. Does that make sense?? Well, things are looking up. I believe that the process sped up when Caroline got a name and more of an identity. She's no longer just "Baby Braddock" and therefore kind of an abstract idea ( have I mentioned that I was totally in denial that I would have to take Shelby home from the hospital until well after she was born???). Now my sweet baby is Caroline - a daughter that I already love and very much look forward to meeting. With her name, everything changed. For that I am grateful.

Beautiful name! Love it! You are all in our thoughts and prayers! We haven't been to AL in ages, but when we do we'll definitely give you a call. My mom always comes to us or we meet in Nashville. Dawson is actually with her this weekend in Hartselle. Hope it's alright to add your blog to our blog links on Dawson's. Just love what you've done with it! Take care! love, the taylors :)
