1. The Bachelor. Thankfully I haven't spent the entire season glued to watching this crazy man pick a wife - or not. However, I have spent more hours this week than I care to admit watching the fallout from this. Melissa is lucky to have been dumped when she did. She could've married him and been dumped 6 weeks later. Another reminder that I'm thankful that I have a good God to follow and not "follow my heart." Emotions are deceiving - they're leading Jason right off a cliff... What a jerk.
2. 24. Are you watching this?? When Scott was on a deployment once, some friends gave me the second season on DVD to watch. I was obsessed. It was thrilling to watch such an adrenaline inducing show without commercials and be able to watch one episode right into another. I found myself hoping my children would take a longer nap or go to bed earlier so that I could get lost in Jack Baur land again. I finally made the grown-up decision to turn off the DVD. I've never watched it regularly. As a previous Alias lover, I knew that I would also love 24 and didn't want to tempt myself with getting involved in another tv show. The goal is less -not more, right? Anyway - I'm home many nights by myself again and have spent the season with 24. It is fast paced, suspenseful, well-written and probably one of the best shows on tv. (I know - I watch a few of them!) Find it on Monday nights.
Interesting stuff, huh? :) I absolutely HATE talking about tv shows. It became a joke about me when we were in Cali because I had friends that wanted to pick apart shows with me. I'm not into that.
