Awards Day

You know how people talk about how frustrating it is that kids are rewarded for everything these days and they are awarded way too often??  Well, apparently that principle doesn't apply to your own children.

Grace's kindergarten teacher called late this morning and apologized for forgetting to tell me that Grace was getting an award at "Awards Day" today.  I think they probably do this every 6 weeks now.  Anyway, my sweet girl got a "210% Award" for always turning in her homework, obeying her teacher, listening in class and completing all of her schoolwork.  There were 5 kids from her class that received the award.  I couldn't be prouder of her.  Not only does she give 210% at school, but she's such a sweet girl with a loving heart.  I am so proud to be her mama!
