The mascot for us, Chi Omegas, is the owl. My dear friend Jenny's mom, Ann, has spent the last 10 years collecting owl Christmas ornaments for several of us. Like I mentioned, this was the first year in the last nine that I decorated a Christmas tree. I had no idea what such an owl collection I had until I began pulling all the ornaments out of the box!! Then as we returned from Philly this weekend there was a box on the porch containing these fine furry friends...
Now Ann has truly outdone herself. She said that she was cleaning out the closet and that the little guys had been apparently reproducing. :) Maybe next year I'll have an entire Christmas tree with nothing but owls! Thank you, Ann!
