I had a fantastic "Girls Weekend" with my favorite girls in PCB! Grace was out of school on Friday and Scott was out of town, so I made a last minute plan to head south. Allyson and Wes live blocks off of the beach - so that makes the decision to go much easier!! They were away on their own vacation, so we had their house to ourselves. The weekend was absolutely fantastic. THANKS, HARPERS!!!
I almost turned the car around in Birmingham when the kids asked me for the gazillionth time if it was time to watch a movie. Pardon me for wanting to listen to Rick & Bubba for one of the 8 hours it took to drive down there! :) We went to the beach, built sand castles, played in the water, flew kites, swam in the lake and played at the playground all without spending much money!! Success!!
