Baby Shower

Tomorrow afternoon we're packing up the fam and heading to Enterprise to celebrate babies with these cute gals and sweet Sawyer.  Don't I have the cutest sisters ever???  Ashley is expecting Eli the first week of November (she hopes he comes early!) and Allyson is expecting Caleb at Christmastime.  Ashley & Allyson are quickly boosting the number of boys in the family!!!  We're spending the weekend in Enterprise at Ashley's house and heading to Dothan on Saturday for a baby shower for Allyson.  I love these cats and think that they're some of the funniest folks on the planet.  

What's really funny is how much my 3 girls resemble us 3 Brown girls.  Grace is the spitting image of me.  She looks like me.  She acts like me.  She's dramatic, highly sensitive and wonderful like me.  :)  Ashley & Shelby are carbon copies of each other.  Shelby has Ashley's facial expressions & gestures, her stubborn streak and her enthusiastic spirit.  Julia (so far) is most like Allyson.  She's laid back, shares well, is easy to be around and loves her sisters passionately.   :)  

My Daddy took Grace & Shelby to a Hartselle football game a month or so ago.  This older lady sitting behind and catty-corner from them finally leaned over and said, "Those girls look SO familiar.  Who are they??"  When Daddy told her who their mama was, she said, "Of course!  They look just like the Brown girls!!"  It was Mrs. Key, my fourth grade teacher.  I haven't seen Mrs. Key since fourth grade, but even she knew that the resemblance was uncanny.  :)  I've heard it a thousand times since we've been back in Hartselle.  I couldn't be prouder.  If my girls turn out as well as Ashley & Allyson, I'll be doing well.  

Now if only I could get them to move closer...
