We finally did the upper GI test on Friday. Caroline does have some reflux, but the vomiting that precipitated the tests has stopped. No meds for the reflux unless the vomiting returns. Overall, a fantastic report from the doctor today!
Sweet Caroline is a dream baby. Seriously. Many of you have heard me say along the way that I'm not a fan of the baby stage. I think I've found my exception. With Miss Caroline we've had none of the harder aspects of newborness - no exhaustion from being up all night - no crying for no apparent reason and you can't get the baby to hush - not a single night of walking the floors and singing the same song over and over. When you see a teeny baby and think, "oh, it'd be so great to have a baby" but inside you know that the reality of baby is different than your dream... Caroline is the dream. I am so overwhelmingly grateful. I have four AMAZING girls that I love beyond measure. 100 and 100 worth, as Shelby would say.
