Milestones

My big girl lost her first tooth this week. My almost first grader, level 3 swimmer, advancing reader, sweet on-pitch singer, Jesus lover, little mama, mini-me, beautiful green eyed big girl lost her first tooth. "Mama, I feel so different," Grace told me that same night as she examined her new hole in the mirror. "It's such a little thing that came out of me, but I feel so different." My sweet Grace IS so different than the timid little one that she once was. However, I am enjoying each milestone with my big girl. They seem to be coming more frequently and these unchartered waters make her mama a nervous nellie - maybe not losing the tooth exactly, but more the boyfriend and Hannah Montana conversations. Please, Jesus, don't let me mess this up. I couldn't be prouder of this sweet kid.

They'll all start falling out now! Austin has lost 7 now...with no. 8 dangling. Obviously, he lost his first early. It is crazy how these two have grown. Good to catch up on here, although I feel like a voyeur! Miss you all. Tell Grace Austin says hello. Oh and hey...I am not sure about the Hannah Montana thing either. I am not ready for this stuff, and I know I have messed up at times already!

God gave me a wonderful role model with 4 little ones so that I can learn from the best. You are a wonderful Mom and I am sure you will get it all right. I am counting on you to lead me with mine. We love seeing pictures of the girls and Granger is still talking about playing with all the girls again at Ms. Katie's house.

Also, my Dad always told us that we must have been kissing boys if our teeth fell out. Sure hope Grace has only been kissing on her Daddy.
