Day 3

It's been a great day. Caroline moved from CICU to a regular room. She's had almost all of her tubing removed and is looking more and more like my sweet baby girl. She's been an absolute trooper through it all. She is eating well, breathing well, pooping well and progressing like a champ.

My parents brought her sisters to visit today. My my, what a circus. The girls were CRAZY excited about seeing Caroline - for about 3 minutes until they lost complete interest and decided to play hide & seek in our itty bitty hospital room instead. Typical.

If I haven't e-mailed or called you back lately, I apologize. I appreciate your call, but things have been absolutely NUTS. There was no cell service in the CICU area and we've been busy non-stop since arriving here in this wing. Of course, Caroline just went to sleep and they've just walked in to take vital signs for the umpteenth time...
