Sorry that yesterday's post didn't appear. Technical difficulties at the hospital that we've now resolved. Up and running. Here we go...
So, we've spent most of the last two days in "hurry up and wait" mode. We got here about noon yesterday afternoon and spent all afternoon sitting around.
We're now in the surgery waiting room. We got to the pre-op area around six this morning and finally got called in for surgery around eight. We got a call around 9:50 that surgery had begun. It should be four hours before they send her to the ICU.
Thank you so much for all the words of support and encouragement and especially the prayers. We are content and peaceful in the Lord this morning. We'll post more soon.
