Happy Veterans' Day! Multiple posts in one day usually drives me crazy, but I've got lots to catch up on and this one is timely.
Until visiting Arlington last week for Mom Mom's burial, the last time I had been there was the 5th grade trip to Washington. 20 years of life and 11 years of Navy life has certainly changed my perspective and appreciation of this beautiful sacred place. I am now truly grateful and overwhelmed at the sacrifices made for freedoms that we take for granted. I am now not only especially grateful to the zillions of veterans that have fought for our country, but also for their wives/husbands that support them. It's a tremendously difficult job that certainly deserves recognition. Thank you, Veterans!

This picture is Scott trying to convince Anna & Grace that the Veterans' Day tradition is to kiss a veteran. They're not buying it. :)
Scott spoke to Decatur High School yesterday for their annual Veterans' Day program. He's such a rock star! :) I'm so very proud of my husband. He's the absolute best.
